Sa interbyu sa Superbalita Cagayan de Oro kang Saclot, gibutyag niini nga dako kaayo iyang kalipay nga nakasulod si Cindy isip opisyal nga kandidata sa prestihiyosong beauty pageant sa Pilipinas ug number 15 o Binibini 15 ang opisyal nga numero niini sa maong kompetisyan nga gitakdaang koronasyon karong bulan sa Abril.
"Bb. Pilipinas is a very prestigious pageant and the candidates are a high caliber, meaning to say, dili ka makuha sa Bb. Pilipinas kung dili ka moagi og thorough screening and the fact that she qualified as a candidate already an honor especially for Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro kay dili jud basta basta ang screening process sa Bb. "We are very much happy that Cindy is doing well in Bb. Pilipinas and the governor has already expressed his full support to her bid to snatch any of the crown especially there are 5 crowns at stake," matud ni Saclot ug miingon nga dako kaayo og tsansa nga makaharbat si Cindy og korona tungod kay nasayod siya sa kapasidad niini.
"We are confident that she will be able to represent both Cagayan de oro and Misamis Oriental well...We all know that Cindy is a very intelligent lady. She already gained valuable experience so far if beauty pageants are concerned. I believe that with her accomplishment being a magna cum laude, she is very good spokesperson not only for Misamis Oriental but the rest of the country if given the opportunity to bag one of the crown," dugang pa ni Saclot.
