THE Cadiz City Government under the leadership of Mayor Salvador “Bading” Escalante highlights its recent tourist destination - the Dalayapan Eco-Park placed 11 kilometers away from Barangay Caduha-an.

The said eco-park is enriched by verdant vegetation with its cool and relaxing ambiance.

This eco-park is currently managed by the Dalayapan Agrarian Reform Cooperative (Darco) where tourists can enjoy sipping hot native coffee, taste its native chicken cooked either in tinola or adobo, and enjoy its dipping pool and the natural scenery. Surely tourists are assured of a relaxing experience in the eco-park.

The city government has approved a financial grant of P5 million for the promotion of environmentally and socially responsible tourism development and another P2.5 million financial support to the cooperative/association projects.

However, the management of the eco-park was given to the Darco.

To date, the eco-park has become one of the livelihood sources of cooperative members with the full support of the local government of Cadiz City.
