Moises Padilla holds Serbisyo caravan

THE local government unit of the Municipality of Moises Padilla spearheaded the delivery of services dubbed as “Serbisyo Caravan” in collaboration with the local government agencies, different stakeholders and the 62nd Infantry (Unifier) Battalion, Philippine Army to the constituents of Brgy Montilla and its adjacent barangays in Moises Padilla on February 18, 2020.

The activity benefited 1,132 individuals who received free services such as medical consultation, dental check-up and tooth extraction, circumcision, medicines, massage, haircut, PhilHealth membership, birth and marriage certificate registration, certificate of ownership of large animals, immunization and giving of vitamins for the animals, Comelec registration, distributions of fruits and non-fruits bearing trees, Agrarian Reform consultation, agriculture consultation and giving of vegetable seeds.

Mayor Ella Celestina Yulo-Garcia led the “Serbisyo Caravan” together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) headed by Mr JR Dayomadi, Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) headed by Mr. Grapes Gayona, Municipal Agrarian Reform Office (MARO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) headed by Mr. Ariel Estos, Local Civil Registrar (LCR) headed by Mr. Joji Concensino, Comelec Satellite Office (CSO) Mr. Jesus Mondito D. Gaston, Department of Health from Provincial Health Office Bacolod City headed by Dr. Angelo Bucquial and Dr. Gabriel Lopez, Municipal Health Office (MHO) of Moises Padilla headed by Dr. Cyle Louis Peralta Ladera, City Health Office (CHO) of Himamaylan City headed by Dr. Kaye Marie E. Yap, and security forces from Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Local PNP of Moises Padilla and Technical Support Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 headed by P/Capt. Joey C Mara, and personnel of 62nd Infantry Battalion headed by 1Lt John William D Portillano (OS) PA, Acting Civil-Military Operation Officer and 1Lt Raymond D Jamisal (INF) PA, Charlie Company Commander.

The activity is part of the efforts of Retooled Community Support Program of the Department of Interior and Local Government headed by Dr. Maria Nove A. Mejica PhD, Provincial DILG Officer, Local Government Units of Moises Padilla and the transformation efforts through Community Support Program (CSP) of the 62nd Infantry (Unifier) Battalion through the implementation of the Executive Order #70 “Institutionalizing the Whole-of-Nation Approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace, creating a National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, and directing the adoption of a National Peace Framework”.

The Philippine Army is aggressively pursuing for lasting peace through channeling its thrust to the Local Government Unit to take lead in bringing the Government closer to the people by providing fast and sustainable delivery of basic services to the community especially to those isolated and affected barangays of the Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) propaganda and atrocities in order to enlighten the people that the Government is servant of the people and always in service for peace and development.
