THE Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club (RPVGCC) is upbeat about its stint in the upcoming 73rd PAL Interclub Tournament in Bacolod City.
Guesting in yesterday’s Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at The Annex of SM City Davao, RPVGCC general manager Tomas Jose Iñigo said, “Mataas ang chances na manalo kasi may movements sa line-up.”
The seniors competition is slated February 23 to 29 while the regular men’s division is on March 1 to 7.
He said the club’s regular team won the friendship division two years ago with Randy Cadiogan at the helm. The team fell short in their title retention bid last year but Iñigo said they are hopeful that the team will be able to bounce back this year.
RPVGCC’s seniors team is composed of Cadiogan, Noe Taojo, Abe Dizon, Josue Tesado, Lito Dublan, Eugenio “Jun” Serado, Deo Cura and Johan Dalmacio.
Its regular team 1 is bannered by team captain Roderick Lo, Ronald Galicia, EJ Casintahan, JP Marfori, Chris Tan, Leo Yap, Addy Briones, Jong Tan, Jing Tan and Miguel Dominguez while team is will have the services of team captain Jerico Bajo, Ludwig Van Ledesma, Brian Davila, Wendell Adlao, Alejandro So, Oscar Rebosura, Vince Valdellon, Christopher Tan, Simeon Gonzalez, Boy Tan and Jessie Tan Jr. (Shane Therese D.
