FOODPANDA riders recently interrupted their operations for a few hours to deliver food to the families in Tagaytay City, Cavite affected by the Taal Volcano eruption and typhoon-hit families in Tacloban City, Leyte.

They also created the Global Soup Kitchen, which aims to help families and children by giving them food.

Two years ago, foodpanda partnered with different orphanages and communities in Manila, Cavite and Cebu to bring warm meals to more than 1,000 children with special needs. The partnership still continues today.

Foodpanda riders extended the reach of their kindness to more people in the cities of Tagaytay and Tacloban. The riders delivered food to a total of 300 families and 1,200 evacuees in the two cities.

As a food delivery service, foodpanda promised to continue to make food more accessible, especially to the less fortunate and victims of calamity through its Global Soup Kitchen. (S)
