FIVE villages in Negros Occidental undergo onsite validation in line with their application to be declared drug cleared.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (PDEA-Nocpo) Barangay Drug Clearing Program Team (BDCP) conducted onsite validation in villages Nato and Talaptap in La Castellana; Carabalan Village in Himamaylan and villages Banga and Cabia-an in Candoni.
The onsite validation was conducted on February 18.
The said villages are candidates for the 19th Regional Oversight Committee Deliberation on February 27.
The onsite validation was participated by the local officials, church, representatives, Department of Education representatives and village officials with their PWUDs (persons who used drugs).
At present, 98 out of 601 villages in the province have been declared drug cleared.
