DESPITE losing in his fight for the World Boxing Organization super bantamweight title to Emanuel Navarrete, ALA Gym head trainer Edito Villamor lauded Jeo Santisima’s performance.
“We salute Jeo because of what he has shown,” Villamor told SunStar Cebu. Santisima, ranked No. 5 in the WBO, dropped down to 19-3 with 16 knockouts, while Navarrete improved to 31-1 with 27 knockouts.
Santisima won 17 straight fights before losing to Navarrete.
The 25-year-old Navarrete defended his title for the fifth time since winning his belt against Isaac Dogboe on Dec. 8, 2018. (EKA)
