TWO people, including one of the most wanted persons, were arrested in separate operations in Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga City, the police said Thursday, February 27.
The Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula identified the arrested suspects as Jomiel Perez, 18; and Dionecor Jusayan.
The police said Perez was nabbed after a warrant of arrest was served against him at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at Purok Anunang in Dalangin Village, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Perez has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated homicide with P72,000 recommended bail issued on February 12, 2020 by the court of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The police said Jusayan was arrested a warrant of arrest was also served against him around 7 p.m. Wednesday at at Purok 7 in Tugbungan Village, Zamboanga City.
The police said the Jusayan, the number three most wanted persons in Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur, has standing warrant of arrest warrant for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on February 17, 2014 by the court of San Miguel in the same province. (SunStar Zamboanga)
