FAST Autoworld Philippines Corp. (FAPC) opened the first Fuso dealership in the VisMin region located on M.L. Quezon Ave., Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City last Feb. 20, 2020. With the inauguration of a new dealer outlet, the brand will be able to manage the medium to heavy truck requirements for Cebu businesses.
FAPC director William Chiongbian II mentioned in his speech how excited they are to roll out its latest brand and product, which is Fuso. This dealership will not only address the growing vehicle sales and service demands in the province but will also have the opportunity to sell in the rest of the Philippines.
Fuso is known for its high-quality products, and its 1.6-hectare outlet and state-of-the-art facility is competent to cater to and serve customers better as it is equipped with seven work bays to accommodate all types of services for trucks. The dealership can display up to five light to heavy-duty trucks where it also houses the latest models of trucks and buses to supply industries like logistics, hauling and construction.
With Fuso recognized as the general distributor of trucks and buses in the Philippines, the Mactan branch showcases the modern PUV versions of its Canter Trucks: the Class 2 Canter Commuter and the Class 3 Canter Express. The two units are Fuso’s model entries for the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
The 33-seater Class 2 PUV will be utilized for short routes within the city, while the 23-seater Class 3 PUV will be deployed for longer routes within towns and municipalities. Both Canter Trucks are powered by a Euro 4-compliant diesel engine and are outfitted with closed-circuit television cameras, aircon and seatbelts to mention a few.
The Fuso dealership in Mactan will significantly contribute to the new era of public transport and modern logistics in the city and even the entire Philippines.
