THE “Nanay” coffee table book is officially up for grabs after its launching on Tuesday, February 25, at SM City Pampanga.

“Nanay”, the brainchild of Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda’s daughter-in-law Yolanda Pineda, was published by the Nanay Foundation, Inc. to pay tribute to the vice-governor’s crusade for good governance in her three-decade long political career.

The book was written to acknowledge the immeasurable leadership and compassion of the vice-governor, fondly called “Nanay Baby” by the Kapampangan people.

“Nay, your heart is dedicated to the least, the last, and the lost. For women, for mothers, for Kapampangans, you are the person we all aspire to be one day,” former Sta. Rita Mayor Yolanda Pineda said during the launching ceremony.

“This book is but a glimpse of who you truly are, Nanay, in the eyes of those who love and adore you,” she added.

It can be recalled that the coffee table book was given as a gift during the vice-governor’s 69th birthday celebration on February 21.

It was initiated and funded to gather accounts verified through research and interviews with reputable figures who worked closely with the vice-governor throughout the years.

The five-chapter “Nanay” book, published by Iconopixel, includes her life story, her ascension to public service, and her legacy.

People who are interested in buying the “Nanay” coffee table book may place their order through www.nanayfoundation.com or +639088891535. (PR)
