TO MARK its 24th anniversary, Cebu Pacific launched Monday, March 2, 2020, a three-day piso fare for domestic and international destinations.

The Super Seat Fest starts today, March 3, and ends Thursday, March 5, for travel between September 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

The bookings have dedicated dates: March 3 for 37 domestic destinations, March 4 for 25 international destinations, and March 5 for both.

"We have made it a point to give back to everyJuan for their support for the past 24 years," Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and customer experience, said at the launching of Super Seat Fest at Ascott Makati, March 2.

She said passengers can travel to more domestic destinations at less cost than what would they would be spending on fares.

Along with this piso fare promo, Cebu Pacific also offers Getaway hotel deals at 75 percent off, inflight hot meals at 40% off, and wifi kits at 42% off.

The money saved from fares can be used to book Getaway hotels and connectivity at the destination for better travel experience, Iyog said.

Cebu Pacific has tapped internet celebrity Mimiyuuuh "to help excite and encourage travelers" to "Be a Baryahero."

Mimiyuuuh graced the launching of Super Seat Fest.

Baryahero is a play of the Tagalog words "barya" meaning coins (lingo for budget) and "pasahero" meaning passenger.

Iyog said Cebu Pacific is one with the government in promoting domestic tourism as concerns linger over international travel given the worldwide outbreak of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Cebu Pacific has suspended 272 international flights per week to Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzho, Xiamen and Shenzen until end of March 2020.

It has dropped year-round fares to over 70 domestic routes and ramped up the number of seats offered for key routes across the country.

It also has announced that it will hold "a surprise sale for select Philippine destinations for the first time ever." (MPS)
