FOR the third consecutive year, Telus International Philippines, one of the country's leading digital solutions and business process solutions companies, has been recognized as a 2019 Kincentric Best Employer in the Philippines.

Formerly known as Aon Best Employer, Kincentric's Best Employers program measures and recognizes leading employers worldwide who have proven to exemplify sustainable business results based on four key attributes, including high employee engagement, engaging leadership, agility and talent focus.

"Telus International Philippines' success is deeply rooted in our commitment to create a caring work environment for our team members. Our steady approach to a holistic focus on engagement and building connections with people show that we are creating an environment where team members feel safe and engaged, which in turn fuels their passion in delivering exceptional customer service for our clients," said Rajiv Dhand, Telus International Philippines' regional vice-president and general manager for Operations.

The results for the Best Employers program were measured using the most objective metrics possible, which is through a CEO interview, an employee opinion survey (EOS), and an audit of relevant practices in the company's HR department.

"Being recognized as one of the best employers in the Philippines reflects how invested we are in our team members. We always make sure that our caring culture is well-preserved as the company continues to grow in different aspects of our business," said Dhand.

Unparalleled employee satisfaction and engagement score

Among the most notable key attributes that the company achieved this year is its record-breaking employee and engagement score of 92 percent, as noted by the recent 2019 Telus International Philippines Pulsecheck Survey, a yearly engagement survey now conducted by Kincentric, a global third party and Human Resource solutions company.

"Our unique and caring culture at Telus International Philippines puts value on our team members above anything else. This is why the company achieved an unprecedented 92 percent Pulsecheck score for 2019, the highest among all TELUS International sites across the globe," said Dhand.

Telus International Philippines' score is 16 percent higher than world-class standards, and participation was overwhelming with 86 percent of the company's over 16,000 team members across its six sites responding to the survey.

Better still, Telus International Philippines has also continued to maintain a strong workforce retention with an annualized voluntary attrition of 40 percent below industry attrition rates.

Last year, it went the extra mile as it celebrated its 2019 Service Milestone Awards for 1,057 employees, who have spent their 5th, 10th, and 15th years with the company. (PR)
