UPDATED.Classes in all levels in both public and private schools in Metro Manila and Cainta, Rizal have been suspended amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) threat.
President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night, March 9, declared suspension of classes in all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR) starting on Tuesday, March 10 to Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Some of the local governments in Metro Manila have suspended the classes earlier.
Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno Domagoso said there will be no classes from March 9 to 15, 2020.
