THE Sherilin Red Arowanas completed a perfect sweep of their elimination round games after they shredded The Farmer and the Chef, 83-64, in the Upperclass Cebu Basketball League at the Cebu Port Authority gym last Saturday, March 7, 2020.

Fresh off their conquest of the Metropolitan Cebu Basketball League, the Red Arowanas of businessman Richard Mercado continued to burnish their reputation as one of the best amateur basketball teams in Cebu by going undefeated in four games in Bracket C.

Their latest victory starred former University of San Carlos hotshot Michael Cantonao who scored 15 points and grabbed three rebounds for the Red Arowanas.

In other matches, V-Drink Malunggay Juice clobbered the NJEB Construction & Supply, 103-84. Raymart Manaytay exploded for 31 points in that game to help V-Drink claim its third win in four games, good for second place in Bracket A.

ASPA also defeated Jade & Jay, 87-84, thanks to the powerful play of big man Kenneth Niones who had 18 points and six boards. ASPA now sits atop Bracket B with a 3-1 card.

And finally, Hell Energy Drink x Digal-Laluces Associates blew away the White Wolves, 94-77, to bump their undefeated streak to three games. Former Cebu Institute of Technology-University standout Niño Batiquin led the way for Hell Energy with 24 markers.
