PORAC -- Lynnwood Construction Supplies opened its second branch in Barangay Mancatian here on March 6.

The opening ceremonies were led by owner Marlene Cubacub Marimla and her husband, Benny Marimla.

Porac Mayor Jaime Capil, Vice Mayor Charlie Santos and former Porac Mayor Condralito Dela Cruz, Eastwest Bank Senior Assistant Manager of Angeles Branch Gizzelle Castillo, and Philko Oil President and Chief Executive Officer Michelle Sia were also present during the opening ceremonies.

According to Lynnwood owner Marlene Marimla, she decided to open her second branch in Porac town because of the growing development in the area.

"We want to be here as the town starts to develop to be able to provide various construction needs to local builders," Marimla said.

Lynnwood Construction Suppliers offers a complete line-up of construction products from structural to finishing stage.

Aside from high-quality construction products, Marimla also assured costumers of good service by delivering supplies promptly.

Marimla started in the construction supply business in 2001. Her first branch is in Barangay Telabastagan in the City of San Fernando.

The construction supply business was born out of Marimla's perseverance and determination to be "more than a housewife."

She shared that established suppliers and even some customers in the industry would often question her ability.

"Instead of losing my confidence, I took those criticisms as inspiration to strive harder and eventually, achieve my business goals," Marimla said.

Aside from Lynnwood Construction Supplies, Marimla also owns BM Lynne Construction Supply in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City; Krizwood Construction Supply in Barangay Telabastagan, City of San Fernando; and BM Marimla Quarry and Vibro Plant in Calzadang Bayu, Porac town.
