SI MAYOR Sara Z. Duterte-Carpio sa siyudad sa Davao nagboluntaryo sa iyang kaugalingon og "home quarantine" human ang iyang biyahe didto sa Metro Manila.
Sa pamahayag sa City Mayor's Office (CMO), ang mayor naglista sa kaugalingon isip Person Under Monitoring (PUM) ubos sa Davao City Health Office.
Ang pamahayag dugang nagkanayon nga usa sa iyang empleyado sa ilang panimalay di sab maayo ang gipamati sa lawas niadtong Miyerkules sa gabii, Marso 11. Ang kawani nalista sab isip PUM.
Niadtong Miyerkules, si Duterte-Carpio naa sa "lunch meeting" uban ni Committee on Environment Senator Sherwin Gatchalian sa Manila kon diin ilang gihisgutan ang mga importanteng butang alang sa siyudad sa Davao.
Apan si Senador Sherwin Gatchalian nagpahibawo niadtong Miyerkules nga ubos siya sa "self-quarantine" human usa ka "resource person" kinsa nitambong sa pagdungog sa Committee on Basic Education, Arts and Culture, kon diin tsirman kini, niadtong Marso 5, 2020 nagpositibo sa novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
"Though I am asymptomatic and feel healthy, I will follow government set protocols on such cases and go into self-quarantine immediately given that I interacted with the said individual during that committee hearing," pahayag ni Gatchalian.
Dugang sa CMO, "While Mayor Sara has not suffered from flu-like symptoms, she chose to undergo self-quarantine to protect others if she may be found to be sick in the next few days."
Ang mayor "is now confined in an isolated bedroom at her residence and will continue to work through emails, messaging, and video telecon."
Samtang si Senadora Nancy Binay, kinsa uban ni Gatchalian sa committee hearing, nag-self-quarantine sab sa kaugalingon alang sa sunod nga 14 ka adlaw.
"With close to 50 people already been tested positive, it only shows that the exposure to the virus is real, and there's a high chance that someone out there is a carrier," tug-an ni Binay.
