HOMEGROWN property development company Felcris Hotels and Resorts Corp. (FHRC) will soon be establishing a hotel and convention center in the next three years.

In a press briefing, Thursday, March 12, FHRC President Clark Yap said the company is now in the process of designing the hotel and convention center with 280 rooms to be built in the 30,000 square meter area inside the Felcris Centrale compound.

“We are in the designing stage ngayon. It will be run by the resort's arm of the company because the family did the hotel in La Union and with that, nagka-confidence kami to run it on our own,” he said.

“It will be a new building. It will be about 16 floors for now. On the side of the Felcris Centrale, we are designing for more office spaces on that side,” he said.

He added that their initial estimation of the project cost will be about P1 billion to P1.5 billion although it will be finalized after the design is finished.

“Ang (target) namin based on the designing stage is April 2022. Tapos na siya after three years,” he said.

The company established the Felcris Centrale, a P10-billion mixed-use development which features it’s Felcris Superstore, some bars and restaurants, specialty shops, boutiques and office spaces and houses a business process outsourcing company.

The Yap family also owned Davao Central Warehouse Club, the Central Convenience Store chain, and the Chimes Specialty Store.

On Thursday, Yap and his business partner Wesley Bangayan announced the progress of Legacy Leisure Residences, another mixed-use condominium development in Maa.

The project, which will have four condominium towers and leisure amenities, costs approximately P4 billion. It is targeted to be completed in eight years

Legacy Leisure Residences is under the Crisron Holiday Builders, Inc., a venture partnership of Yaps and Bangayans.
