IN light of the COVID-19 outbreak, it’s always a good idea to be prepared especially when it comes to cleanliness, even more so in public places.

With the intention to make traveling extra safe, airline company Cebu Pacific is implementing precautionary measures for safety purposes such as providing face masks to its staff, crew and passengers and more actions.

“All our aircraft are equipped with HEPA filters for air filtration with 99.9 percent efficiency. Disinfection of aircraft are also done regularly and follow an intensified BOQ procedure recognized by the WHO. We also screen passengers on international flights and disallow travel based on existing government guidelines,” said Cebu Pacific’s hub development specialist Aaron Parcon. “Even our meals are produced based on Global HACCP standards, with all procedures and personnel also being BOQ-certified.”

In addition, it has also made changes on its booking policies to accommodate the passengers; which was shared on the company’s social media. Passengers traveling to Philippine and international destinations from March 10 to April 30 who wish to rebook or cancel their flights can avail of the following options such as the free rebooking in which the change fee is waived (fare difference may apply); and putting the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund. The Travel Fund can be redeemed within 180 days and may be used for bookings as far as 12 months out.

Those who booked flights from March 10 to April 30 may avail of the CEB Flexi for free. This allows passengers to rebook their flights up to two times. All one has to do is select the “CEB Flexi” add-on during booking.
