SILOGAN ni Gian and Cut & Shave Lounge are headed to the playoff round of the Upperclass Cebu Basketball League (UCBL) with momentum on their side after the two teams closed the elimination round with wins over their respective opponents at the Cebu Port Authority gym on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
Silogan ni Gian capped off their perfect 4-0 run in Bracket A with a 112-91 victory over the True Ballers. Rey Gonzaga presided over the dominant victory as he compiled 21 points, two rebounds, two assists, four blocks and four steals.
Joining Silogan ni Gian in the next round from Bracket A is VDrink Malunggay Juice.
Meanwhile, Cut & Shave Lounge overpowered the Crusaders, 85-73, to end their stint in Bracket B with a 3-1 win-loss record. Anvil Infante almost had a double-double with 20 points and eight boards to go with two assists and a steal.
Getting the other playoff ticket from Bracket B is ASPA.
The Bracket C qualifiers are the unbeaten Sherilin Red Arowanas and the SC Warriors while Bracket D has the Hell Energy Drink and the White Wolves. (JNP)
