FOREIGN Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. on Wednesday, March 18, said China will be sending 100,000 Covid-19 testing kits with primers and personal protective equipment (PPE) by the weekend to help the Philippines combat the pandemic.
In a Twitter post Wednesday, Locsin said he received a text message from Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian that China will also be sending 10,000 PPEs as well as 10,000 N95 masks and 100,000 surgical masks.
These will be transported via a chartered flight from China, Locsin added.
