SunStar LIVE! (SL): Who were some of your role models growing up? Explain why.

May Antonette Leuterio (MAL): My parents. My father has always been kind to everyone and he has always believed in his endeavors. My mother has remained strong-hearted through all her experiences.

SL: What have been some of your career highlights so far?

MAL: Having maintained the company to be on top of the real estate industry in the whole Philippines for almost 10 years, together with the people I’ve worked with throughout the years who have given me strength to do more.

SL: How did you achieve the success that you have attained now?

MAL: Keeping in mind my “things to do” and what I can do better while working to achieve them day-to-day, and placing God in the center of everything I do.

SL: What do you find most fulfilling about what you do?

MAL: To change other people’s lives. To fulfill their dreams fulfills me as well. Also, since I love traveling, I like being able to help a lot of people travel to new places, discover different cultures and experience it with them.

SL: For you, what qualities should one have in order to succeed?

MAL: Being goal-oriented, result-oriented, optimistic, communicative and grateful.

SL: What’s the best piece of advice you can give young women who are also trying to succeed in their fields?

MAL: I believe you don’t need to have all those qualities because everyone has a different approach on how they face their daily experiences. Success does not know any gender, age or race. Just believe that you can do anything. And when you get to that point of “success,” don’t forget to look back on where you came from and be grateful.
