LAWMEN have arrested one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Esingan Mendoza, 55, a resident of the village of Marupay, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte.
Galvez said Mendoza was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 2:45 p.m. Thursday at Sitio Bob in the village of Marupay.
She said Mendoza has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated murder with P200,000 recommended bail issued on October 25, 2017 by the court of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
She added that Mendoza is listed as the number three most wanted person in the town of Sindangan. (SunStar Zamboanga)
