Police get own gas station

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The police force in Pampanga and the region now have their “very own” gasoline station.

This, as the Philippine National Police Service Stores System (PNPSSS), in partnership with Phoenix fuels, launched Monday the third of its gas stations in Barangay San Nicolas near Camp Olivas that were designed to serve the police.

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) head Chief Superintendent Arturo Cacdac Jr., the PNPSSS-Phoenix Gas Station partnership would be a boost to the local police and their dependents.

“With this newly opened gas station, our personnel and their dependents would be able to get big discounts. Our patrol and mobile units will definitely find this gas station convenient and a big help for them in our daily work of maintaining peace and order,” Cacdac told Sun.Star Pampanga.

Retired Colonel Arturo Alabanza of Phoenix corroborated Cacdac’s statements, saying the station, the third in Luzon serving the police, is a concerted move to assist lawmen.

“We at Phoenix have launched a series of partnerships with the police and this gas station is one. We hope to assist our men in uniform by delivering to them services like this at prices that would work to their advantage,” he said.
