Lacson: How to keep our sanity while we are on ECQ

IT HAS been exactly nine days since President Duterte placed the entire island of Luzon under enhanced community quarantine or ECQ as a measure to contain the Covid-19 pandemic from spreading. It is always safe to stay at home and follow what the government is asking us to do.

However, as much as we enjoy our new found luxury of not leaving our abodes, we are also now somehow experiencing boredom and restlessness as we may lack things that will help us spend the day. As social distancing is now the thing to observe, staying indoors can still be so much fun with your family. There a lot of things that you can think of such as playing board games, trying out some artful activities like painting, or taking part in simple and entertaining card games. The world is aplenty of ideas with just a simple click on the internet.

5. Start off your passion project or learn a new hobby or a new skill.

There are actually a number of online courses or workshops that are now being offered for free and these are definitely advantageous for us. With thousands of videos, tutorials, recipes, and DIY resources online, this is the best time to learn a new skill or start off with that passion project you’ve been dreaming about.

6. Pray and never lose faith in the Almighty.

As these trying times, the only thing that we can really be sure of is that God will never forsake us. There might be a reason for what is happening now, but He will not allow such things to happen of we cannot surpass them. As they say, with His love and provision, this too shall pass.
