Cervantes: Exorcism prayer amid Covid 19

BECAUSE of Covid-19, us home-grounded folk have taken to the internet to communicate with people outside our homes. Often we send to each other prayers of assorted kind, something we otherwise would not have done if the world went on as usual.

Now, we urge each other to pray, to reach out to God for help. Wonderful prayers have been passed on even by people we always had thought of as so bacchanal as to be an atheist. In the face of a microscopic but overwhelmingly powerful enemy, we finally capitulate in humility, holding out for succor for God whom the world had almost forgotten.

Somebody commented to me that Covid 19 is evil. I said yes, because it must have been a result of the devil hatefully toying around with humanity in a wider space resulting from mankind pushing God too far away.

And so the option is to ask God for forgiveness and, again, some nearness.

Let me share another prayer that the laity is allowed to use to exorcise evil. It is called the Prayer of Command.

Here is the prayer:

“In His name and by the power of His Cross and Blood, I ask Jesus to bind any evil spirits, forces and powers of the earth, air, fire, or water, of the netherworld and the satanic forces of nature. By the power of the Holy Spirit and by His authority, I ask Jesus Christ to break any curses, hexes, or spells and to send them back where they came from, if it be His holy Will. I beseech thee Lord Jesus to protect us by pouring Thy Precious Blood on us and our families, which Thou hast shed for us and I ask Thee to command that any departing spirits leave quietly, without disturbance, and go straight to Thy Cross to dispose of as Thou sees fit. I ask Thee to bind any demonic interaction, interplay or communications. I place (Name a person, place or thing) under the protection of the Blood of Jesus Christ which he shed for us. Amen.”

Without intent to add more weight to the already bleak Covid 19 atmosphere, I must share more dreadful prophecies from mystics. Again I say, if the messages are from Heaven and are intended for us all, there is sense to make them known to the most number of people, regardless of whether we fully realize that sense.

Here are more prophecies.

From St. Pope John Paul II:

“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel.

We must be prepared to undergo great trials in the not-too-distant future; trials that will require us to be ready to give up even our lives, and a total gift of self to Christ and for Christ. Through your prayers and mine, it is possible to alleviate this tribulation, but it is no longer possible to avert it... How many times has the renewal of the Church been brought about in blood! It will not be different this time.”

Prophecy through St. Maximillian:

“Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The lmmaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. However, assumed into heaven, the Mother of God now requires our cooperation. She seeks souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to her, who will become in her hands effective instruments for the defeat of Satan and the spreading of God’s kingdom upon earth.”

Prophecy through St. Faustina:

“Jesus looked at me and said: Souls perish in spite of my bitter Passion. I am giving them the last hope of salvation: that is the Feast of my Mercy. If they do not adore my mercy, they will perish for all eternity. Secretary of my mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of mine, because the awful day, the day of my justice, is near.”

Is Covid 19 part of that “day” of justice?
