CORAZON Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) targets a zero coronavirus disease incidence in their ground but has also initiated the essential preparation to brace for it in case of a likelihood.
CLMMRH chief Dr. Julius Drilon directed the conduct of a simulation exercise to prepare their frontliners with the needed mastership in dealing with the apparent coronavirus disease patients in case they are brought to the regional medical center for the necessary treatment.
Dr. Drilon oversaw the conduct of the simulation drill held on March 25 which were performed by their medical health workers assigned to attend to Covid-19 cases.
He said preparation is necessary so that they will have an idea on how to effectively respond to the situation.
He said, CLMMRH would like to win this war versus Covid-19, thus they engage their health warriors to more trainings to improve their process and build the confidence of the front liners in responding to the needs of the patients.
The simulation aims to prepare and improve their response.
They aimed for a zero casualty, zero persons under investigations (PUIs) and to carry a 100% safe process as they care for them.
The frontliners were exposed to the worst-case scenario.
Based on their risk assessment, CLMMRH will be the last bastion in Negros thus he encouraged his Covid team of health warriors to hold the fort as we will defend it up to the last drop of our resource. God speed for everyone, Dr. Drilon said.
Covid-19 is a different type of enemy thus, they have readied their new CLMMRH warriors who are willing to do the battle for Negros.
“We choose to fight and fight hard. God speed my health warriors,” Drilon added.
The CLMMRH health warriors are high in spirit to fight Covid-19 to the finish.
