Catimo who is from Baguio City but now resides in Barcelona with his family said they are all healthy and no reports yet as of this time of Covid-19 positive cases affecting the Cordillerans based in the area.

A 15-day lockdown is being implemented in the area and works are cancelled. The social distancing of two meters between persons queuing in supermarkets is being implemented and even in subway trains and another transport system.

The military and police authorities are strictly implementing the home quarantine and curfew. Those who violate the rule without a valid reason will be fined ranging from 200 to 600 Euros and face penalty of imprisonment.
