POLICE are investigating the death of a person deprived of liberty (PDL) inside the Sub-Provincial Jail in Hilongos, Leyte Wednesday, March 25.
The PDL Manuelito Jumadas, 49, was a resident of Barangay Lunang of the said town.
He was found dead around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 25.
Tresany Recopelacion, duty jail guard in the facility, personally appeared at Hilongos Municipal Police Station to report the incident.
Jumadas was facing a murder case, according to the responding policemen led by Staff Sergeant Reynaldo Rosario of the Hilongos Municipal Police Station. (SunStar Philippines)
