CONDUCTING its annual photography competition, the Cebu Images Camera Club brought back its annual “Images of Sinulog 2020,” open to all aspiring photographers.
Capturing the moment, the awarding took place at The Northwing, SM City Cebu. More than 1,500 entries were judged based on creativity, visual impact, technicality and relevance. They were judged by a panel of experts: Juan Carlo de Vela, Mikael Arrogante and Tonee Despojo. The evening event was led by its club president Sidney Dyguani and “Images of Sinulog” chairman Chubby Atillo, and hosted by Juvel Mangubat Ducay.
Having each been awarded with a trophy, cash prize as well a gift from Cliptec, first place winner was Rocky Roska, second place winner was Anthony Hejie Suralta and third place winner was Herbert Kikoy.
Finalists Michol Sanchez, Robo Formacion, Alan Tangcawan, Raymund Nillas, Alex Badayos, Reginald De Guia, Dexter Maneja, Kimberly Mendero, Reynan Opada and Charles Igot also received their respective prizes.
Commended by the judges was John Paul Manansala, presented with the Club’s Choice Award. As an added bonus, the winners were given an enlarged print of their winning photos, courtesy of F8 Photo. Congratulations to all the winners!
