Covid-19 cases in Central Visayas rise to 25

BASED on the March 29, 2020 situational report on coronavirus disease (Covid-19) issued by the DOH 7 today, March 29, there is a total of 25 positive cases in the region.

Of the number, 19 are admitted, one has recovered, and five have died.

Of the total number of admitted cases, 15 are from Cebu City; one from Cebu Province; two from Lapu Lapu City, and one from Mandaue City.

The recovered patient is from Bohol. It was the 60-year-old Chinese who had travel history in Bohol and already went back to China.

Of those who died, two are from Negros Oriental and three from Cebu City.

The DOH 7 also recorded a total of 206 persons with severe acute respiratory infection; 1,319 persons with influenza-like illnesses, and 17,105 persons under monitoring. (WBS)
