THE Department of Public Services (DPS) of Cebu City Hall has been conducting massive disinfection in all streets in the city.
DPS chief John Jigo Dacua said the disinfection will be done every night until the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the city will be lifted.
Cebu City was placed under a state of ECQ starting 12 noon of March 28, 2020 up until 12 noon of April 28.
The massive disinfection is done to decontaminate the streets of the city and prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Mayor Edgardo Labella, in a press conference on March 30, said the massive disinfection will continue “until all the corners of the city will be disinfected.” (JJL)
