Troops distribute PPEs in Central Mindanao

THE troops of the Joint Task Force Central facilitated the distribution of personal protective equipments (PPEs) to the different hospitals in Central Mindanao.

Major Arvin John Encinas, Western Mindanao Command (Westmincom) spokesperson, said the PPE packages were donated by Towns Foundation for the use of the frontliners in addressing the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) health crisis.

Encinas said that among the hospitals that received PPE packages were: Cotabato Regional Medical Center; Cotabato Sanitarium in Sultan Kudarat; Anecito T. Pisante Sr. Memorial Hospital in Midsayap, North Cotabato; Evangelista Medical Clinic and Hospital in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat; and City Health Office in Koronadal City.

Encinas said that each PPE package contains 100 pieces dust masks/surgical masks, 100 pieces N95 masks, 200 pairs disposable gloves, 100 sets goggles, 100 pieces face shields, 100 pieces raincoats and hospital gowns, and two bottles of 500 milliliter alcohol. (SunStar Zamboanga)
