FIVE of the 14 people considered as patients under investigation (PUI) tested negative of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) according to a March 27 advisory of the Municipal Government.
The advisory signed by the town's spokesperson Niel San Andres said that five of the said PUIs have tested negative while two are in isolation in designated hospitals. The rest of the seven PUIs are currently in strict home quarantine for mild symptoms and are in good condition according to the advisory.
There are also 321 persons under monitoring (PUM) in the town and have been placed in home quarantine. The municipal government said that they are monitoring the conditions of the said PUMs.
A Grab driver from Porac town was reported as the first case of Covid-19 in Pampanga. The patient had recently recovered from the virus.
