THE second positive coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patient from Floridablanca town died on Tuesday, March 31, adding up to the three recorded fatalities from the virus in Pampanga as of April 1.
This town’s second case was reportedly confined at Green City Medical Center where he died. He was from Barangay Mabical, this town. The first positive corana virus case from this town is in Barangay Nabuclod. The aeta patient had recently recovered and was discharged from a designated government hospital where he received medical care.
Aside from the recent fatality, three deaths from Covid-19 were recorded last week.
The first fatality related to the corona virus disease was the patient who was admitted at the ur Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center (OLMMC) last March 9. The patient, a resident of the City of San Fernando, perished on Wednesday, March 11, two days before the test results that confirmed the patient’s infection late night of March 13.
The second fatality was Dr. Marcelo Jaochico, the provincial health chief of Pampanga, died on Tuesday, March 24. DOH records list a fatality from Bacolor town but it is not clear if the reported death is Dr. Jaochico.
The third fatality is a 69-year-old woman from Apalit town who died at the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC) on Thursday according to an advisory issued by the medical institutions.
