Airlines suspend flights in Clark International Airport

CLARK FREEPORT -- Carriers operating in Clark International Airport (CRK) have temporarily suspended their respective international commercial flights starting April 3.

“Due to the continuing travel restrictions being implemented in our country and abroad as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19, air carriers flying out of Clark International Airport have announced the temporary suspension of all commercial flights effective April 3, 2020,” the Luzon International Premier Airport Development (Lipad) Corporation stated in its advisory dated March 31, 2020.

This resulted to the temporary suspension of Point to Point (P2P) bus operations from and to Clark Freeport.

Flights are expected to resume as travel restriction eases, Lipad added.

Clark airport will operational to service essential cargo flights and support the Philippine government in its effort to “flatten the curve.”

The CRK management lauded its personnel for their dedication to serve the people particularly during this world-wide health crisis.

“The Clark airport management takes this opportunity to thank all frontliners, most especially the CRK team members, who continously serve the public during these challenging times,” LIPAD said.

Clark airport vowed to continue posting updates from the airlines in connection to their flights and operation.

Passengers are advised to connect with their respective airlines for specific flight updates.
