THE quarantine facility on Block 27 at the North Reclamation Area, Cebu City is targeted to be operational on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Special Assistant to the Mayor Jose Daluz III said that equipment for the facility are ready and that the only thing they are waiting now is for the construction to finish.

“Ang ato nalang karon kay ang pagpabarug after the foundation kay diretso na butang. In fact, the beds are already ready,” Daluzs aid.

Daluz said that April 3 was supposed to be the target date to finish the building, but it is still the sixth day of construction.

During a press conference on March 19, City officials announced that the quarantine facility at the NRA will be completed in 10 days.

Daluz, though, emphasized that the site development, which started March 19, was not counted as part of the ten-day target construction.

The construction started on March 28.
