AT LEAST 141 soldiers of the 403rd Brigade in Bukidnon have undergone training on the handling of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients.
The Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center (BPMC) gave soldiers a one-day theory and practical training inside Camp Osito Bahian, Malaybalay City about the proper handling of Covid-19 patients.
The training was conducted so soldiers learn the proper protocol, especially in patient transfer, when they are usually tapped as a reinforcement.
Colonel Ferdinand Barandon, commander of 403rd Infantry Battalion covering Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro City, said the training will protect the soldiers and the lives of the people.
"As soldiers, we train to win war. We thank the BPMC for this initiative of training our soldiers on our worldwide battle against Covid-19. This training will protect our soldiers as we continue to protect our people," Barandon said.
