Mobile market rolls out in City of San Fernando

TO BRIDGE the gap between vendors and consumers while the enhanced community quarantine is in effect, a mobile market was rolled out in the City of San Fernando over the weekend.

The program was launched in Barangay San Jose Malino and Saguin through the partnership of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and City Government of San Fernando.

Dubbed as "Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita," the mobile stores bring fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables, meat and eggs to consumers while transport sector is halted in line with the enhanced community quarantine period.

The mobile market will be roaming around in the city to provide access to other Fernandinos who are not able to go to the actual market. Schedule per area is yet to be announced by the City Government.

Aside from the city, the rolling stores will also visit other areas in the region such as Xevera Subdivision in Mabalacat City on Monday, April 6, and San Jose Del Monte City in Bulacan on April 7.
