TEN persons were arrested by police authorities in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Pampanga over the weekend as the war on illegal drugs intensifies.
In Bulacan, police operatives arrested Ricardo Azonsa Jr. y Salvador, resident of Brgy. Bulualto, San Miguel, Bulacan; Jeremiah Arcega y Mendoza, resident of Iras St Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray Bulacan; Jerome Castilo y Ferrer, resident of Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray Bulacan; Paulo Dela Cruz y Cruz included in PNP-PDEA unified drug watchlist and Wilson Austria y Cruz, both residents of Brgy. Concepcion, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Confiscated from the suspects were 12 sachets of suspected shabu.
Police operatives of Nueva Ecija conducted drug busts which resulted to the arrest of the following: Ferdinand Limbaga y Pascual, resident of Brgy Gomez, Sta Rosa Nueva Ecija and Rogelita Alcantara y Ariza a.k.a Bebe, resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Cruz Roja, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Seized from their possession were seventeen 17 pieces of transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and P1,000 marked money.
In Pampanga, police operatives arrested Joel Torres y Serrano aka “Patdu”, resident of Sitio 7, Sto. Niño, City of San Fernando, Pampanga; Acmad Guinto y Molina aka “KAMKAM”, resident of Palanca St., Brgy San Miguel, Manila; and Casandra Velatcha y Baltazar, resident of Dau St., Brgy Lote, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Confiscated from the suspects were six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; four pieces P1,000 bill used as marked money; two pouches and one cellphone.
Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Director Rhodel Sermonia said that PNP PRO3 is continuously conducting pro-active operations against all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug -free Central Luzon aside from their enormous tasks in the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
