Hunt on for farmer who hacked dead his in-laws

POLICE are hunting down a farmer who was believed to be having a mental disorder after he allegedly hacked to death his father-in-law and sister-in-law in Iligan City Monday, April 6.

The killed victims were identified as Medino Cuizon Sr., 61, and Mykylyn Cuizon. Another victim was brought to the hospital after sustaining hacked wounds on her shoulder, abdomen, breast and head.

Investigators identified the suspect as Jonathan Daligdig, 28, who was scheduled for a medical check-up on Tuesday, April 7, according to the culprit’s wife.

The suspect allegedly entered the house of the victims carrying a bolo and hacked the victims with no apparent reasons while they were sleeping.

Police urged the public to report to authorities any sighting of the suspect since he escaped after the incident.
