A TOTAL of 26 persons in Bacolod City were arrested by Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) for violating curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday, April 6.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, said the violators were arrested in the areas of Barangays 1, 2, Banago, Cabug, Alijis, Singcang-Airport, and Mansilingan.

He said they were given a warning and were released.

On Sunday, 41 curfew violators were apprehended by personnel of Police Stations 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 10.

Aside from curfew violators, nine persons were also charged by personnel of Police Station 9 Monday for violating the Executive Order No. 22, providing for the Implementing Rules and Regulations of EO No. 21 Series of 2020.

Major Charles Gever, chief of Police Station 8, said the suspects were arrested for violating the enhanced community quarantine in the city Monday.

The violators were charged for violation of Article 151 of Revised Penal Code for disobedience to person in authority.

Gever said most of them were already given a warning to stop roaming if they don’t have an enhanced community quarantine pass.

He said the violators were arrested in the area of Purok 6, Magsungay, Magsaysay Street, Arenata Street, all in Barangay Singcang-Airport, and Araneta Highway in Barangay Pahanocoy.
