THE Department of Health (DOH)-Central Visayas logged one new case of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the region Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
The DOH-Central Visayas, with the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center sub-national laboratory, released on Tuesday 78 test results and one of which tested positive for the new virus.
This brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in the region to 36.
The new patient is a 60-year-old male from Cebu City.
The DOH-Central Visayas also recorded six additional patients that have already tested negative for the virus, bringing the total laboratory negative to 19.
The six additional laboratory negative include five patients from Cebu City and one from Mandaue City.
It also recorded no new death, making the Covid-19 mortality count still at eight. (WBS)
