More than four kilograms of suspected shabu was confiscated from a taxi driver by Talisay City police operating in Barangay Valencia, Carcar City at around 12:30 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
The suspect was identified as one Roblen Mata Repdos, 42, taxi driver, a resident of the area.
The operation was assisted by the Carcar City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Branch and Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Major Gerard Ace Pelare, chief of the Talisay City Police Office, said that a drug suspect informed them that Repdos is his source of shabu.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (AYB/GPL/JGS)
