AUTHORITIES arrested Wednesday, April 8, two men for allegedly selling overpriced alcohol in an entrapment operation in Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
Arrested were Zacaria Mangadang and Aliasa Cuaro, both residents of Barangay Kauswagan, this city.
Operatives confiscated some 130 pieces ethyl alcohol worth more than P21,000.
Police said the 320ml size alcohol was sold at P170 each while the 100ml was sold at P100.
The suspects were brought to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Northern Mindanao and will likely face charges for violations of the Price Act or Republic Act (RA) 7581, FDA Act (RA 9711) and RA 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
