Baguio revises market schedule

A NEW market schedule will be implemented by the City Government of Baguio effective Monday, April 20.

The new schedule is based on the recommendation of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) giving residents in the different districts a two–day schedule.

Based on the new market schedule, Group 1 consists of districts 1, 2, 6, and 9 will have a market day schedule for Monday starting at 6 a.m. until 12 noon while districts 3,5,8 and 11 will start their market schedule on the same day starting at 11 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Districts 3,5,8, and 11 will have a market day on Thursday starting at 6 a.m. until 12 noon while districts 1,2,6 and 9 will have their same day schedule starting at 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Group 2 consisting of districts 10,12,16 and 20 will have a Tuesday schedule from 6 a.m. to 12 noon while districts 7,13 and Puroks 1 to 18 of Irisan will have their same day schedule starting at 11 a.m. till 5 p.m.

On Friday, districts 7, 13 and the Puroks 1 to 18 of Irisan will have a 6 a.m. to 12 noon schedule, while districts 10,12,16 and 20 will have an 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.

For group 3, districts 4,15,17 and 18 will have a Friday schedule starting at 6 a.m. till 12 noon, while districts 14, 19, and Puroks 19 to 28 in Irisan will have an 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. market day schedule.

On the other hand, districts 14, 19 and Puroks 19 to 28 in Irisan will have a 6 a.m. til 12 Saturday schedule, while districts 4, 15, 17, and 18 will have the 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. market day schedule.

District 1 is comprised of barangays Gibraltar, Mines View, Pacdal, Pucsusan, and St. Joseph Village while District 2 is Cabinet Hill, DPS Compound, Engineer’s Hill, Marcoville, and Greenwater Village; District 3 is Gabriela Silang, Hillside, Lower Dagsian, Santa Escolastica Village, Upper Dagsian, and Scout Barrio; District 4 is Baguio General Hospital Compound, Balsigan, Burnham Legarda Kisad, Imelda Marcos (La Salle), Phil-Am, Santo Rosario, Ferdinand (Happy Homes-Campo Sioco) with District 5 comprising of City Camp Proper, General Emilio Aguinaldo (Lower Quirino Magsaysay), Lower Rock Quarry, Middle Rock Quarry, Palma Urbano (Cariño-Palma), Upper Quirino Magsaysay (Upper QM), and Upper Rock Quarry.

District 6 includes Andres Bonifacio (Lower Bokawkan), Camp Allen, Campo Filipino, Fairview, Kayang Extension, MRR Queen of Peace, and Upper Market Subdivision; District 7 comprised of Barangays Central Guisad, Crescencia Village, Guisad Surong, Lower Magsaysay, Padre Burgos, Padre Zamora, Pinsao Pilot Project, and Slaughter (Sto. Niño).

District 8 are Barangays Camdas Subdivision, Dizon Subdivision, East Quirino Hill, Happy Homes Old Lucban, Lower Quirino Hill, Middle Quirino Hill, Pinget, and West Quirino Hill; District 9 includes Ambiong, Bayan Park Village, Bayan Park East, North Central Aurora Hill, San Antonio Village, South Central Aurora Hill, and Bayan Park West (Bayan Park) while District 10 are Barangays Harrison-Claudio Carantes, Lower General Luna, Malcolm Square - Perfecto (Jose Abad Santos), Salud Mitra, Session Road Area, and Upper General Luna Road.

District 11 includes Country Club Village, Happy Hollow, Lualhati, Lucnab, Outlook Drive, and South Drive; District 12 is Atok Trail, Fort Del Pilar, Kias, Loakan Apugan, Loakan Liwanag, and Loakan Proper; District 13 is Camp 7, Camp 8, Military Cut-off, Poliwes, and San Vicente while under District 14 are Bakakeng Central, Bakakeng Norte, Dontogan, SLU / SVP Housing Village, Santo Tomas Proper and Sto. Tomas School Area.

Under District 15 are Asin, Dominican Mirador, Lourdes Subdivision Ext., Lourdes Subdivision Proper, Lower Lourdes Subdivision, San Luis Village, and San Roque Village with District 16 are Irisan, Middle Quezon Hill Subd., Pinsao Proper, Quezon Hill Proper, Upper Quezon Hill and Victoria Village while District 17 covers Alfonso Tabora, Magsaysay Private Road, New Lucban, North Sanitary Camp, South Sanitary Camp and Trancoville.

In District 18 are Andres Bonifacio - Caguioa Rimando (ABCR), Abanao-Zandueta-Chugum-Kayang Otek (AZKCO), Bagong Lipunan (Market Area), Kagitingan, Kayang Hilltop, Rizal Monument Area, Teodora Alonzo, Upper Magsaysay and Kabayanihan while District 19 covers Aurora Hill Proper (Malvar-Sgt. Floresca), Brookside, Brookspoint, East Modern Site, Lopez Jaena, and West Modern Site with District 20 is Holyghost Extension, Holyghost Proper, Honeymoon (Honeymoon-Holyghost), Manuel Roxas and Imelda Village.
