Utzurrum: Bonsai beauties and Lifestyle plus

WE just have to marvel at nature’s bounties by simply looking around us! Members of the Cebu Suiseki Society recently held an exhibit of stones and small rocks that resemble part of our everyday life. We were entranced by a stone that looked like a whale, and another shaped like a goldfish. And still another one shaped like a man’s head. We also saw a stone in the shape of a slipper, and another one in the shape of a whole loaf of bread. This particular collection belonged to Leody Tagorda.

The Suiseki and the Bonsai societies had this joint exhibit and we ask ourselves: Will wonders ever cease? Amazing, indeed, for how man can dwarf trees, and how can stones "form" man?

We doff our hats to these innovative men and women who have the creativity and who care for nature’s riches!
