Ang iyang Facebook post nagkanayon, “9,000+ new cases (all from Zapatera) of Covid-19 in one day. We are now the epicenter in the whole solar system.”
Apan di ba ni pareho ra sa giingon sa city health officer nga gikonsiderar nila nga “infected” ang tibuok sitio nga dunay mikabat sa 9,000 ka mga residente? Tulo ka nga kasong kriminal ang giatubang ni Beltran.

Dinhi ang termino nga gigamit false news, dili fake news, nga mahimong magbutang sa peligro sa kahusay sa publiko. Ang silot niini arresto menor, priso gikan sa usa ka buwan ug usa ka adlaw ngadto sa unom ka buwan.
Giumentohan ang multa niini sa RA 10951 ngadto na sa P40,000 hangtod sa P200,000. Nunot sa national emergency tungod sa Covid-19, gisilotan ang false news bahin sa maong sakit sa RA No. 11469, ang Bayanihan to Heal as One Act. Ang Section 6 niini nagkanayon,
“Penalties-In addition to acts or omissions already penalized by existing laws, the following offenses shall be punishable with imprisonment of two months or a fine of not less than P10,000 but not more than P1,000,000 or both imprisonment and fine at the discretion of the court: “(f) Individuals or groups creating, perpetrating, or spreading false information regarding the Covid-19 crisis on social media and other platforms, such information having no valid or beneficial effect on the population, and are clearly geared to promote chaos, panic, anarchy, fear, or confusion.”
