Bacolod City Councilor Al Victor Espino has reached out to the impoverished community in the city who have turned helpless with the plague of the coronavirus disease in the city.

Being a legislator, he did not just dwell in the four corners of the SP session hall, rather he went out of his way to reach out to the community and extended whatever means he can to help them in this entirely difficult time.

Councilor Espino aided more than 10,500 food packs to various barangays.

He also provided hot porridge and pandesal through his mobile soup kitchen to those who could hardly complete the three meals in a day.

He provided milk to children who badly need that healthy sustenance through his Barangay Kid endeavor.

Several barangays were recipients of his outreach and various relief assistance. Puroks in Barangays 1, 2, Banago, Granada, Villamonte, Alijis, Bata, Singcang, 14, 13, Cabug, Mansilingan, Vista Alegre, Tangub, Taculing were among them.

It has always been his hope that he can continue to reach out to others who need help.

“We pray for more God’s blessings so that we can share it to others,” he said.

He calls on all Bacolodnons to stay at home, stay safe and stay healthy as the city tries to flatten the curve of transmission in our fight against Covid-19.
