THE local government of Sagay City received a donation of 11,000 organic milk from El Bridge Gutierrez and Moving Bridge Foundation, Thursday, April 23.

The donation was themed as “Milk for Sagay Angels” by Moving Bridge.

The milk is helpful for children ages five years and above.

Gutierrez said that this is not a replacement for breast milk but just a supplement for kids, especially in these trying times.

Children are among the vulnerable during crisis and their foundation worked hard to be able to provide this gift to our angels. He urged all Sagaynons to stay at home and cooperate with authorities so that they can finally rid of Covid-19.

Gutierrez has substantially helped the city in its fight to minimize the various impacts of coronavirus disease to the people.

He previously donated P1M worth of rice bags and now P2.5 million worth of organic milk products.

He said among his donations were P3M worth of computer and equipment for the computer laboratory in Sagay National High School.

His support also to arts particularly film making movement in Sagay has helped earned a mark in the regional and national stage. His way of reaching out and giving back is worthy of emulation.

Dr. Oscar Jimenea, city health officer who was present during the turnover ceremony, also expressed his gratitude to the donor as this will help provide the basic nutritional needs to Sagaynon children amidst Covid-19 crisis.
