DSWD provides cash aid to 4Ps beneficiaries in Bataan

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Central Luzon provided cash aid to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Bataan province.

The beneficiaries who do not have Europay, Mastercard, and Visa (EMV) card received the cash assistance under the Emergency Subsidy Program (ESP) of the agency.

At least 13 families from towns of Orion (six families), Limay (six families), and Pilar (one family) were the first to receive the cash assistance.

DSWD- Central Luzon aims to provide assistance to at least 2,632 4Ps beneficiaries in the region, which most of whom were under Set 9 or newly-registered beneficiaries. These beneficiaries are from Aurora (71), Bataan (59), Bulacan (484), Nueva Ecija (931), Pampanga (713), Tarlac (265) at Zambales (109).

Each household is set to receive P5,150, on top of their monthly health grant of P750 and rice subsidy of P600.

The distribution of the ESP in the region is expected to be completed by May 8.
